Must See: The 36th Chamber Of Shaolin

No need to present this kung-fu classic from the Shaw Brothers, starring Gordon Liu and Lo Lieh. The release of the very convincing DVD by IVL is the perfect occasion to add a little review for those who didn't see it yet, and of course to talk more about this new DVD.

New DVD: Era of Vampire Z1

Here comes the latest Tsui Hark production on a new US DVD. If technically François was very pleased by this edition, he is quite angry with the editing, cutting several minutes from the singaporian VCD, including the ending. Read his review to know a bit more about.

Ringo Lam all the way

Ringo's latest movie is now available on DVD, and it's like nothing you saw from him before. Light, funny, entertaining. Read our review to know more, and if you prefer his violent movies, the remastered edition of Full Contact is also available. Not as good as it could be, as you can read in our DVD review.

Treasure Hunt: remastered DVD

After Sex and Zen 2, here comes the second remastered DVD from Mei Ah, Treasure Hunt with Chow Yun-Fat. Nothing really incredible here, but the movie looks and sounds very decent. Read the complete DVD test and the movie review to know more.

New review: Cat and Mouse

After Love for All Seasons, here comes the second "big" movie of the Chinese New Year 2003. The all star team doesn't really succeed in entertaining us though, as Alain and Francois could tell you. Read the review and DVD test to know more.
